I believe that Graphic Illustration has the power to capture the mood and life around us in a way that no other art form can, as it allows for us to create and design through connotations, be that: colour, shape, style, feeling and so on. I try to capture all of these elements when creating in a visual way, as well as taking inspiration from the elements that surround me and the area where I live. In this way, illustration can help contextualise ways of life without the user or viewer even needing to have experienced it personally. In short, I feel that illustration can connect people together in subliminal ways.
