This Paula Scher quote encapsulates an attitude to design that embraces using one’s own mistakes as a tool for self improvement. It reminds me to keep going with idea generation and research experimentation and to never give up.
I think about this idea often, especially as it relates to the design process. Every experience is valuable, more so than just in terms of whether its results are a success or a failure. Design is, for me, a process of constantly learning and growing and becoming a better version of oneself.
