‘Unforeseen’ explores the circumstances we have found ourselves in over the past year during the Covid-19 pandemic. Stuck within the white walls of my one-bedroom flat, I have found my creativity lacking. The longer the lockdowns went on, the more I felt the creativity I craved disappearing, being replaced by unforeseen rehashed memories of my past, arguments, lack of control, silence and procrastination. I found myself exploring the sights that had become familiar, those unnoticed, unforeseen elements of the everyday, hidden in the beauty in the detail that surrounds me. Constrained by the lack of freedom, the lack of freedom has evolved my creativity and I’m inspired once more.
