Year 1 Showcase

Year 1 of the BA (Hons) Architecture is exploratory, creative and concerned with relationships among body, space and site, and concepts image and object. Design work, speculative and technical, is always underpinned by contextual reference that become narrative, precedents and conceptual language. Art methods focused module Creative Media addresses representation, presentation and imagination of ideas, designs and built forms. Together with Systems and the development of surveying and detailing it supports the Design Synthesis investigative architectural designs in space operation, body conditions of habitation in site, and merging new building proposal within existing contexts.
