Year 2 Showcase
Year 2 of the BA (Hons) Architecture focuses on building design in macro scale and as object in micro scale of different architectures. This year sets the foundations of environmental and ecological intelligence, considering the integrative nature of technology and materiality in the design of buildings, spaces, place and objects. Modules Design Synthesis 2 and City-Context-Culture promote architecture as essential part of the built and natural environment on spatial and urban terms and facilitate the design of buildings that demand attention of user needs, intervention at different scales, addressing issues of regeneration, integration, place making and critical spatial practice.
