“Invent and reinvent”
We as people have the ability to invent who we want to be as long as we have the desire to change. I have applied this way of working that I have developed over the past three years to both my practice and myself as a person.
Through my time at university, I have constantly been evolving in person and practice. The way I desired to take my practice was to explore as many varied areas as possible to widen my skillset. By increasing the breadth of my practice, it allowed me to experiment with my work, and above all, allowing me to reinvent myself to develop my personae as a graphic designer and illustrator.
This idea of adaptation is something that is shown throughout my portfolio.
Manifest
Manifest is a film festival that strives to promote awareness of censorship in animation, and the effect that this can have on creative expression.
Manifest
The aim of the project was to allow the audience to understand the importance of having censorship free animation, and how this can have a positive effect on the target audience through allowing themes normally suppressed by censorship to be expressed in unique fashions.
Irenic
This project consisted of creating an appreciation society and designing the brand identity for it. The society that I created was one that discourages conflict and promotes a more peaceful and unified society.
Colours
This campaign is aimed at LGBTQ+ youth who are struggling with their identities. The pride colours can be substituted with any series of colours to match the identity needed. This creates a series of posters within the campaign that can help give confidence and pride to LGBTQ+ youth.
